While we don’t require you to hire someone from our list, we really ask that you do. Or at least ask us for additional options if these aren’t your vibe. We could write a whole article on why, but you hired us because you trust us, so we won’t bore you.

At Kismet Event Co., we recommend great quality vendors. It’s important to know what makes a good vendor – these are the qualities I must see before recommending them.

  • Would rather work with a planner (i.e., they don’t give pushback and make things hard for you)

  • Appropriate response times (24 hours on any given day, 2-3 days in the busy season. Florists will always take longer, given the nature of their work.)

  • Properly staffed with backup plans

  • Insured

  • Proper contracts, clear services, and expectations

  • Arrives on time, if not early

  • Develops ideas

  • Goes the extra mile for each event

  • Delivers a consistent and reliable product

  • Clean and professional in appearance

  • Personable and relational

  • Provides education to each client

  • Doesn’t manipulate an upsell

  • Does not drink on the job

  • Positive vibes only - We don’t work with gossips, downers, or high-strung personalities.

Please tell your vendors that we recommended them to you! If you find them on your own, kindly let them know you’re working with us. It’s to your benefit that they know we are your partners.
